Brazilian accessories label Ryzí is celebrating Easter with the relaunch of the Okoye, one of its most iconic designs. The bag returns in four new versions spread across six limited editions — including one-of-a-kind pieces — featuring fresh color combinations and finishes that speak directly to the brand’s creative signature.

A design rooted in origami geometry

The Okoye is a bucket bag with a three-dimensional silhouette, a drawstring closure, and a 10 cm top handle. Its structure draws directly from the geometric logic of origami, translating folded forms into handcrafted leather. The balance between visual boldness and everyday functionality has always been central to Ryzí’s design language.

New palette, new textures

For this relaunch, Ryzí expanded its color range to include yellow, chocolate, blue, aubergine, baby pink, and green sheen. The collection also features scale-textured animal print versions and combinations that mix neutrals with metallic finishes. Every choice reflects the brand’s three core pillars: geometry, innovation, and sustainability.

Upcycling as a creative foundation

Every Okoye is made entirely from upcycled leather, giving each piece a distinct character while reducing environmental impact. The handmade production process ensures that no two bags are exactly alike — even within the same edition. This approach places Ryzí firmly in the space of accessible luxury with a conscience.

“The Okoye is a very special model for the brand, because it perfectly reflects our vision of geometric design and upcycling. With this relaunch, we wanted to explore new possibilities of color and texture, preserving the essence of the piece while adding a freshness that reinforces its exclusivity.” — Luiza Mallmann, founder and creative director of Ryzí

With a limited production run and a one-of-a-kind character, the new Okoye editions affirm Ryzí’s commitment to objects that carry aesthetic, artisanal, and environmental value in equal measure.
