New gastronomic option in Coqueiros
The Coqueiros neighborhood, in continental Florianópolis, welcomes Assados & Prosa at Mercadão de Coqueiros. The space emphasizes fresh ingredients, natural seasonings, and a cozy environment that invites conversation.
Owners and concept
Lara Bethania Castro Zilio, Melissa Cassanha Castro, and Davi Ponçano are the owners. Residents of the area, they focus on simplicity, quality, and connection with the local community.
Varied and artisanal menu
The menu includes whole roasted chicken, thighs and drumsticks, empadas, special choripan, chicken sandwiches, and artisanal meat and vegetable skewers. Sides include potato salad, salpicão, farofa, polenta, and roasted potatoes.
Dine-in, takeout, or delivery
Food can be enjoyed at the Mercadão food court, taken home, or ordered for delivery. The kitchen is partially visible, and roasted dishes are displayed in heated showcases.
