Bacardí’s Mojito Fest hits 21 bars in Rio

From 12/01 to 12/02, Mojito Fest lands in Rio: 21 venues debut Bacardi Mojito twists—and guests rate them via QR Code.

For the first time in Brazil, Bacardí is bringing Mojito Fest to the country—an immersive cocktail circuit designed to spotlight how versatile Bacardí rum can be in one of the category’s most iconic serves. Timed for peak summer, the event invites locals and travelers to taste exclusive mojito reinterpretations created by handpicked bars.

Under the tagline “Your Mojito deserves BACARDÍ,” the festival connects 25 participating spots—4 in São Paulo and 21 across Rio de Janeiro. Each venue keeps the classic Bacardi Mojito on offer while unveiling a house-created version that reflects its own style, from flavor choices to garnish and presentation.

More than a bar crawl, the circuit is built around discovery and feedback. Bacardí’s goal is to show how the same rum base can shift into new aromas and profiles, encouraging guests to try, compare, and share their verdict on each creation.

How the Mojito Fest rating works

The experience is interactive and QR-based. After ordering a venue’s signature mojito, guests scan a QR Code that takes them to the official site: www.mojitofestbacardi.com.br.

There, they score the drink from 1 to 5 across three categories: taste, presentation, and overall experience. After purchasing two Mojitos and completing the rating, participants receive an exclusive campaign tote bag featuring the brand’s iconic design.

According to Marcos Silva, Marketing Manager at Bacardi Brazil, the idea is to honor the recipe’s roots while reinforcing a new drinking culture that values the rum in the glass. “With Mojito Fest, we want to celebrate that versatility during the Brazilian summer,” he says.
