Reclaiming Roots in Food

Colonization reshaped our plates forever. The “Decolonizing the Plate” workshop offers a return to origins. On February 6 at 2:30 PM, join to explore native ingredients and traditional cooking methods.

Canto da Horta blends theory and hands-on practice. They share tales of cultural resistance, revealing food as identity. It’s a call to mindful eating.

This fits Sesc’s ongoing food education. Units host workshops, fairs, and talks year-round. Comedorias serve balanced, tasty, affordable meals.

Food choices are cultural resistance.
