Divino Fogão opens four new units and strengthens expansion in São Paulo and Espírito Santo.
Brand expansion in the Southeast
In a fast-paced growth phase in 2025, Divino Fogão expands its presence in Southeast Brazil with four new units inaugurated in October. Three operations open in São Paulo and one in Espírito Santo, reinforcing the brand’s positioning and consolidating its expansion strategy in the food service market. The network currently operates more than 224 locations, including restaurants and dark kitchens.
Franchising performance in the region
The brand’s expansion aligns with the strong performance of franchising in the region. According to ABF data, the food service segment in São Paulo reported an 11.6% increase in revenue in the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2024. In Espírito Santo, food service franchises registered growth of 15.3% in the same timeframe.
Growth in Espírito Santo
To broaden its presence in the state, the brand arrives in Praia da Costa, in Vila Velha. The region is one of Espírito Santo’s leading tourist destinations and attracts a high-income audience. The restaurant, installed in Shopping Praia da Costa, offers a full buffet and becomes a healthy option for families and leisure moments. Divino Fogão now operates four units in the state.
New unit on the São Paulo coast
The brand also opens a unit in Ubatuba, on the São Paulo coast. The restaurant will operate in Ubatuba Mall to meet the rising demand for structured, high-quality dining options. The municipality receives a diverse audience and a strong influx of visitors during peak seasons, which strengthens commercial opportunities in shopping centers.
First unit in Araçatuba
In the interior of São Paulo, the network opens its first unit in Araçatuba. The city has a diversified economy boosted by agribusiness, commerce and services, alongside solid purchasing power. As a regional hub, it attracts residents from neighboring municipalities, generating steady movement in commercial centers. The new restaurant arrives at Shopping Praça Nova.
Presence in Americana
Divino Fogão also debuts in Americana, a city located in one of the most dynamic regions of the state, near Campinas and Piracicaba. The municipality has a strong industrial presence and above-average income, which supports demand for practical and complete meals in shoppings and gastronomic corridors.
Franchisee’s trajectory
The unit in Americana will be managed by Elder Damasceno Moreira Filho, 45. The franchisee spent most of his career in Japan but decided to remain in Brazil after the birth of his child. After extensive planning, he chose to invest in a business he already knew from previous visits to Brazil.
“My friend introduced me to a different view of what I believed a franchise was and how to manage a business. My sister is trained in the food sector, and together with my wife, had worked with events. So we decided it was possible to invest in our own business. Although Americana Mall is new, both my partners and I believe it has great potential to become an important leisure center in the region. We are excited about the unit’s future. First, we need to recapitalize and ensure that the restaurant is performing well. If opportunities arise, we will not miss the chance to expand our participation.”
Experience offered by the brand
Focused on offering a complete experience, Divino Fogão serves around 32 hot dishes and 15 salad options daily, along with grilled items, desserts and typical sides. The restaurants operate in major shopping centers nationwide and also offer delivery. Investment for a franchise starts at R$ 1 million, with expected return in up to 36 months and average monthly revenue of R$ 220,000.
