Donna Pinha, a cozy restaurant in Santo Antônio do Pinhal (São Paulo state), has announced its 2026 Prato da Boa Lembrança: “Donna Truta Baroa.” The recipe was created by chef Anouk Migotto for the Associação dos Restaurantes da Boa Lembrança (ARBL), a selective national group known for pairing an annual signature dish with a hand-painted ceramic plate guests can take home after tasting.
What’s in “Donna Truta Baroa”
The dish features baroa potato (mandioquinha) purée topped with a smoked trout paste and creamy cheese, finished with a gratin of aged Parmesan. On the side: dendê farofa, a sprout vinagrete, and white rice.
According to Anouk, the point is to keep the flavors rooted in the Mantiqueira region. The kitchen prioritizes fresh ingredients sourced directly from local producers, respecting the local supply chain while delivering a warm, memory-driven dining experience.

How Boa Lembrança works
With ARBL, the meal comes with a collectible twist: each participating restaurant creates an exclusive annual recipe and a hand-painted ceramic plate that guests can bring home after tasting. The association was founded on February 28, 1994, in Petrópolis (Rio de Janeiro state), by Italian restaurateur Dânio Braga, and has produced more than 2 million ceramic pieces across its members.
