The Grand Tasting returns to Rio de Janeiro on November 30 with a complete and sensorial immersion into the world of wine. The event takes place at Hotel Porto Bay, in Copacabana, in two sessions, welcoming wine lovers in an inviting and enriching atmosphere.
Now in its second edition in the city, the fair has become one of the most relevant wine and gastronomy events in Brazil. Designed for learning, tasting and interaction, it offers a journey that blends discovery and conviviality.
Selected labels and gourmet experiences
With sessions from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the Grand Tasting will showcase more than 100 labels from 18 exhibitors, including importers, distributors and producers. Each participant receives a crystal glass and full access to the tastings.
Among the exhibitors is Wine Concept Brasil, presenting labels such as José Piteira and Mar Salgado. Winelovers, from São Paulo, will bring seven wines from Portugal, Spain, Italy and Argentina, including white, rosé, orange and red varieties.
The fair also features cheese selections, artisanal charcuterie, breads, olive oils and gourmet products, enhancing the pairing possibilities.
Audience and national expansion
The event is expected to welcome around 300 visitors across both sessions, ensuring a comfortable and intimate experience. The first Rio edition, held in April, was considered a success by both exhibitors and organizers.
Launched in Niterói in 2024, the Grand Tasting expanded quickly. In 2025, it reached Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, drawing more than 900 visitors and earning its place in the national wine calendar.
The project is led by Marcelo Andrade, Karina de O Noçais and Fátima Santos, professionals with long experience in wine, education and communication. The fair also has institutional support from the Brazilian Association of Sommeliers.
