The Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro and Shopping Metropolitano Barra have joined forces this holiday season to turn Rio’s Southwest Zone into a magical destination. Their combined program offers festive dining, family activities, and exclusive benefits, including 15% discounts for hotel guests on entertainment such as Meta Kart, Bowling, YouPlay, and Animasom.
Sweet Christmas at MET delights visitors
Shopping Metropolitano Barra presents its “Doce Natal do MET”, featuring a playful décor with a 10-meter Christmas tree, candy-inspired ornaments, and interactive spaces for children aged 3 to 10. The Santa’s Throne, on the second floor near Cinemark, includes a pet-friendly area and a mailbox for letters to Santa, available daily until December 24, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The mall’s holiday promotion runs through December 24: for every R$650 in purchases, customers receive a Brasil Cacau panettone and a raffle ticket to win a 2026 Jeep Compass Sport. Offers are limited to one per CPF.
Festive dinners at Hilton Barra
The Hilton Barra welcomes guests and locals to experience Christmas and New Year’s Eve with exclusive dining at Abelardo Restaurant. The Christmas Dinner on December 24 runs from 8 p.m. to midnight, featuring dishes like roast turkey, caramelized ham, and mozzarella ravioli, with live jazz music and a Santa Claus visit. Price: from R$715 per person.
On Christmas Day, the holiday lunch is served from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for R$352 per person, including themed dishes and desserts like French toast. The New Year’s Eve party, themed “The Light of Tomorrow”, takes place in the Bromélias Ballroom, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., with seafood buffet, live band, DJ, and fireworks, starting at R$1,969 per person.
To start 2026, Abelardo Restaurant offers the traditional New Year’s feijoada with samba on January 1, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., for R$352 per person. The Kids Club runs from December 24 to January 2 with supervised activities.
