The Rio restaurant celebrates Easter with a special fish-based menu, chocolate desserts, and a curated wine list.
During Holy Week, Sobrado da Cidade turns tradition into a sensory experience in Rio’s Historic Downtown, combining gastronomy, warmth, and Brazilian identity.
Chef Alice Isha leads the kitchen with dishes that highlight the essence of local ingredients. The Amazonian Pirarucu features grilled wild fish with butter and herbs, served with nut cream wrapped in banana leaf and Brazilian couscous with tomato and queijo coalho (R$ 96). Another highlight, the Mixed Moqueca, brings fish and seafood cooked in a rich, aromatic broth, served with rice, farinha, and spicy sauce (R$ 96).
Chocolate takes the spotlight in desserts. The Chocolate Tart combines a buttery 50% cocoa crust with homemade bitter brigadeiro and salted caramel (R$ 29 per slice), while the Coffee and Pepper Brigadeiro adds a gentle spicy twist (R$ 24).
The curated wine list includes Brazilian and international labels designed to pair perfectly with the Easter menu, inviting guests to celebrate life and togetherness.
At Sobrado da Cidade, every detail invites calm and connection — especially during Holy Week, when each meal becomes a celebration of flavor and meaning.
