Nandah Carneiro brings Brazilian flair to Easter at Jappa
Jappa da Quitanda’s Easter lineup features two new limited-time desserts created by Nandah Carneiro, pastry chef, educator, and founder of LeveMe — a Rio de Janeiro brand pioneering inclusive desserts since 2012.
The first creation is a Banoffee with cupuaçu: the beloved banana and dulce de leche tart gets a distinctly Brazilian twist with cupuaçu jam. The second is a black-and-white chocolate cream pavê, a classic Brazilian layered dessert reimagined with extra creaminess.
Both desserts are available in the all-you-can-eat rotation and can also be ordered à la carte, for a limited time across all Jappa locations.
Fans vote on the names
In a playful nod to its community, Jappa is letting followers choose the official names of both desserts via voting on its Instagram (@jappadaquitanda). It’s a small but meaningful gesture that keeps the brand conversation open and engaging.

GoldKo sets up a chocolate fondue station in Ipanema
On April 4 and 5, from noon to 3 p.m., Jappa’s Ipanema location hosts a special pop-up with GoldKo, a Brazilian chocolate brand that makes products with no added sugar. A chocolate fountain cart will be set up in the restaurant, offering guests a complimentary strawberry fondue — one per person.
The experience is designed to be as visual as it is delicious, challenging the idea that sugar-free products are dull or restrictive. GoldKo was founded by the Kopenhagen Goldfinger family, a name with deep roots in Brazilian chocolatier culture.
