Hotel Santa Teresa MGallery rings in 2026 with signature dinner, live art, jazz, DJ set and a stunning Rio view.
Amid the breathtaking views of Santa Teresa, Hotel Santa Teresa MGallery celebrates the arrival of 2026 with a night that blends art, music and haute cuisine.
Signed by chefs Luanna Malheiros and Jérôme Dardillac, the wine-paired dinner gains extra charm with artist Jérôme Poignard painting watercolors live, offered as gifts to guests.
With live piano music, the atmosphere is one of elegance and celebration in one of Rio de Janeiro’s most charming hideaways.
The night becomes even more special with decor inspired by the color Transformative Teal, a sophisticated blend of deep blue and aquatic green.
The shade symbolizes transformation, balance and well-being, reflecting a search for conscious change in lifestyle and consumption.
It also expresses the idea of harmony between elegance, serenity and connection with nature, values that define the essence of MGallery.
Served at two times, 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., the dinner features an authorial menu that combines sophistication and Brazilian identity.
The experience begins with a basket of artisanal breads served with coffee butter, highlighting aromas and textures.
Next come starters that explore contrasts, such as scallops with pitaya sour cream and coconut water emulsion.
Other options include veal medallion with grana padano meringue and honey from the Brazilian cerrado, or pupunha ravioli with tangerine reduction, hibiscus and cilantro tempura.
For the main course, the menu offers a true ode to contemporary cuisine.
Highlights include confit duck with figs in balsamic caramel, puy lentil ragout and wine sauce.
Another suggestion is VG shrimp with smoked corn cream, sweet bacon farofa and land-and-sea asparagus, emphasizing textures and flavor layers.
The vegetarian option is a tofu sphere with colorful tomatoes, purple basil and nut sauce.
To finish, three desserts stand out for both flavor and meticulous presentation.
One of them is cashew textures, combining mousse, compote, biscuit and cashew nut praline, celebrating a Brazilian ingredient.
The dessert trio also includes a vegan Bûche de Noël with coconut, pineapple and mint, and the elegant Chococherry, which layers cocoa meringue, chocolate crémeux, mousse and cherry gel.
The entire experience is accompanied by a pairing menu featuring sparkling wine and selected wines designed to enhance each course.
After dinner, the party continues on the pool deck from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., with premium drinks and beverages.
Live music by the band Jazz Colado sets the tone, while the stunning view of the Marvelous City lights up the countdown.
From midnight on, DJ Doni takes over and turns the moment into pure celebration, with cocktails and a special drink created to toast the new year.
