Nuu Nikkei offers refreshing and original cocktails, aligned with nikkei cuisine philosophy, featuring classic reinterpretations and exclusive creations.
During summer, the cocktail menu at Nuu Nikkei stands out in the gastronomic experience. Recognized for its fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, the restaurant’s drink list follows the spirit of the season, emphasizing fresh ingredients, refined techniques, and balanced combinations that match the restaurant’s sensory concept.
Citrus, herbs, spices, and teas are used precisely, resulting in aromatic and elegant drinks with layers of flavor that unfold sip by sip. Classic cocktails receive original reinterpretations: the “Pisco Sour” features pisco, lime, and albumin, with a velvety texture and balanced acidity; the “Hemingway Pipe” blends gin, white wine, and lime, finished with purple ipê wood smoke; the “Nuu Spirit” unites bourbon, Sicilian lemon, hibiscus, and basil; while the “Basil Mint #2” explores freshness and complexity with gin, apple, lime, ginger, basil, and mint.
In original creations, creativity meets nikkei identity. The “Summertime” balances sake, aperol, Sicilian lemon, and ginger for a light and refreshing profile. The “Rosa do Sul” combines vodka, cherry syrup, rosé vermouth, and Sicilian lemon, resulting in an elegant, aromatic cocktail. The “Nuu Green” features pisco, kale juice, Japanese tea, ginger, and Sicilian lemon, bringing vegetable freshness and oriental references. The “Purple King” mixes gin, ramazzotti, Sicilian lemon, cordial pepper, earl grey tea, and chicha, with greater complexity and spicy notes. The “Fresh Spicy” closes the selection with tequila, luxardo, ginger, Sicilian lemon, and club soda, balancing spice, acidity, and effervescence.
According to Peruvian chef Carlos Alata, Nuu Nikkei’s cocktail menu is an extension of the kitchen: “We work with balance, freshness, and respect for ingredients, seeking drinks that interact with the dishes and enhance the overall experience.”
