On January 24, Outback donates net proceeds from Bloomin’ Day items to Make-A-Wish Brazil to help grant wishes for kids and teens.
Outback Steakhouse will hold the 19th edition of Bloomin’ Day on January 24, turning a menu favorite into direct support for Make-A-Wish Brazil. On the date, the brand will donate all net proceeds from participating items to the nonprofit, which helps grant wishes for children and teenagers living with serious illnesses.
Guests can join in three ways: dining in at any Outback location in Brazil and ordering the Bloomin’ Onion; ordering Bloom’ Petals through delivery; or purchasing a Wish Card for R$ 70. The Wish Card is available on the Bloomin’ Day page from 01/05 until 10 p.m. on 01/24: https://bloomindayoutback.todocartoes.com.br/#/purchase
According to the company, Bloomin’ Day was created to reinforce two core pillars of the brand: hospitality and caring for people. Since 2017, Outback has supported Make-A-Wish Brazil through the initiative, expanding its social impact. Over the past five years, the campaign has helped grant more than 200 wishes.
“This date further strengthens our long-standing commitment to this solidarity movement, inviting guests to share moments around the table while helping bring new wishes to life. The impact can be seen in many stories of children and teenagers supported by Make-A-Wish Brazil,” says Claudia Vilhena, VP of Marketing, Sales and Growth at Bold Hospitality Company, the group that holds the Outback Steakhouse brand in Brazil.
One of the stories highlighted is Sophya de Jesus, 18. Diagnosed with a rare condition that affects hormone production by the pituitary gland, she had her wish to receive a cellphone granted in 2024 through Make-A-Wish Brazil. With the organization’s support, her new dream of becoming a digital influencer is also moving forward.
“I hope more and more young people can benefit from this initiative, just like I did with Make-A-Wish Brazil. Together, we can keep transforming lives,” Sophya says.
Over the years, Outback’s social campaign has raised more than one million reais, helping fund wishes for children and teenagers. The 2026 edition takes place on January 24 across all Outback locations in Brazil.
