Pizza Prime expands its menu with tuna and shrimp pizzas, following the growing demand for aquatic-based foods.
Blue foods rise in global and Brazilian consumption
A study from the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, published in Nature Communications, shows that blue foods consumption may increase by nearly 80% by 2050. These aquatic foods are gaining space among consumers and companies attentive to global food trends.
Among the companies acompanhando this shift is Pizza Prime, Brazil’s largest pizza chain, which highlights seafood-based flavors crafted to balance freshness, intensity and texture.
Tuna-based pizzas
Atum paulistano – Combines the intensity of tuna with the sweetness of onions, served on a light crust with crispy edges. Prices start at R$ 59.90.
Atum com muçarela – Brings together tuna, onions and mozzarella, balancing bold flavor and creaminess. Prices start at R$ 65.90.
Shrimp-based pizzas
Camarão da Ilha – A blend of mozzarella, shrimp and fried garlic, balancing delicate seafood notes with aromatic crunch. Starts at R$ 73.90.
Camarão Prime Poró – Combines mozzarella, shrimp, leek and cream cheese or catupiry, offering harmony between freshness and creaminess. Prices start at R$ 79.90.
A diverse national menu
Beyond seafood flavors, Pizza Prime offers more than 80 options, including vegan varieties and sweet pizzas, available in over 80 units across 11 Brazilian states.
