Porto do Sabor’s food truck hits Fan Fest in Copacabana and Carnival street parties with açaí, pies and croissants for revelers from February 13 to 21.
The marathon of street parties and concerts during Rio’s Carnival gets a new mobile address. Porto do Sabor puts its food truck on the streets to follow the festivities at different points across the city, offering light and practical options for those who want to keep their energy up between events.
The mobile operation will be present at Fan Fest, which takes over the Copacabana waterfront between February 13 and 21 with free concerts by artists such as Neguinho da Beija-Flor, Belo and Marcelo D2. The route also includes street parties like Bloco das Gaúchas (February 14) and Baile de Carnaval (February 16).
Menu on wheels
The concept is straightforward: offer quick alternatives for those in the middle of the party who prefer something lighter than traditional street food. Amid the heat, crowds and intense schedule, the mobile version emerges as a strategic stop to recharge without leaving the circuit.
To replenish revelers’ energy, the available menu items include the traditional Açaí (300 ml – R$22 / 500 ml – R$32), with optional Granola (R$6) or Leite Ninho (R$6) toppings, the Whole Wheat Chicken Pie (R$28.90) – a bestseller at Rio locations – and the delicious Croissants (R$14).
