Easter falls on April 5 this year — and few details set a festive table apart quite like the right wine. Provence rosés, known for their freshness and versatility, are a natural pairing for the light, seafood-forward meals that define the holiday in Brazil and beyond.

Château Minuty: Gastronomy Born in Gassin

Nestled in Gassin, in the hills surrounding Saint-Tropez, Château Minuty is celebrated for the gastronomic character of its wines. Carefully selected terroirs and meticulous winemaking turn every meal into a sensory experience.

The Minuty Prestige Rosé opens with intense aromas of citrus, delicate flowers, apricot, and yellow peach, finishing with a subtle saline note. Light and refined, it pairs beautifully with oysters, mussels, clams, ceviche, sashimi, sushi, and linguine alle vongole.

Château d’Esclans and the Rosé Renaissance

Château d’Esclans, located northeast of Saint-Tropez in the Côtes de Provence appellation, is a global benchmark for premium rosé. Its transformation began in 2006, when entrepreneur Sacha Lichine acquired the estate with the vision of sparking what he called the “Rosé Renaissance.” Alongside celebrated French oenologist Patrick Léon, Lichine repositioned rosé as a wine of prestige and global appeal.

The estate’s winemaking philosophy blends tradition and innovation — from harvesting grapes at peak flavor to its proprietary fermentation method. The portfolio ranges from the versatile Rock Angel to the sophisticated Château d’Esclans and Garrus.

For Easter, the standout is the iconic Whispering Angel. Its fresh red fruit aromas, subtle floral notes, and silky palate pair effortlessly with grilled fish, burrata, fresh cheeses, and roasted vegetables, adding charm and refinement to the celebration.

Since 2019, Moët Hennessy has included Château d’Esclans in its portfolio, significantly expanding Provence’s international visibility and cementing the region as a world reference in rosé.

The Prestige of Moët Hennessy and LVMH

Both estates are part of Moët Hennessy, the wine and spirits division of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), the world’s leading luxury group. The division brings together iconic maisons including Dom Pérignon, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Hennessy, and Belvedere, among others.

The group’s vision centers on leading the future of luxury wines and spirits while honoring its commitment to the “Living Soils, Living Together” social and environmental program. Together, Château Minuty and Château d’Esclans offer wines that turn any gathering into an unforgettable occasion.
