Salton ranks among the world’s Top 10 sparkling wines

Salton Ouro Moscatel is named one of the world’s top 10 at Effervescents du Monde in France.

Salton continues to project Brazilian sparkling wine onto the international stage. This time, the elegance and freshness of Salton Ouro Moscatel impressed the jury at Effervescents du Monde, in Dijon, France. The label was chosen among the world’s top 10 sparkling wines.

The result was announced this week. Regarded as the most prestigious competition dedicated exclusively to sparkling wines, the recognition highlights the strength of the Brazilian terroir. It also confirms the winery’s leadership in the Moscatel category.

This is the fourth time a Salton label has reached the Top 10. The winery had already been featured in 2018, 2022 and 2024, maintaining a consistent presence among the best in the world.

Competition gathers samples from 15 countries

Effervescents du Monde was held from November 18 to 21 at the Château des Ravatys, in the Burgundy region. The event gathered 393 samples from 15 countries. More than 80 highly qualified international judges took part in the evaluation.

The competition, whose name means “sparkling wines of the world,” is held annually in France. It is widely recognized as the largest event dedicated to this segment.

Salton’s history in the Top 10

In previous editions of Effervescents du Monde, Salton Prosecco also stood out. The label was ranked among the competition’s top 10 in earlier years.

In addition to the Top 10 award for Salton Ouro Moscatel, three other labels also received distinctions. Salton Prosecco Rosé and Ouro Brut won Gold medals. Salton Moscatel earned a Silver medal.
