Three Salton labels surpass 90 points in Tim Atkin’s report, with Ouro Brut named Best Value Sparkling Wine of the Year.
Brazilian winery Salton reaffirmed its excellence in sparkling wine production by standing out in the 2026 edition of Tim Atkin’s Special Report Brazil, one of the most influential wine guides in the world. With three labels rated above 90 points, Salton reinforces its reputation for consistency, technical mastery, and quality.
The Salton Ouro Brut earned 91 points and was chosen as the Value Sparkling Wine of the Year, recognized for its balance between quality and affordability. The result highlights Salton’s mission to deliver high-level sparkling wines that combine elegance and accessibility.
Meanwhile, Salton Évidence Cuvée Brut Rosé received 92 points, and Ouro Brut Rosé also achieved 91 points. According to Cesar Baldasso, Salton’s Export Manager, the recognition boosts the brand’s global presence in over 30 countries. “Being featured in a report signed by Tim Atkin is a major validation of our technical expertise and international competitiveness,” he said.
“Brazilian wine producers show a serene maturity and clarity of purpose,” said Gabriela Zimmer, who led the tastings for the guide in Brazil.
Over the past five years, Salton has exported nearly six million bottles and earned more than 90 medals in 2025 alone. The winery remains Brazil’s largest sparkling wine producer and exporter, helping cement the country’s growing prestige in the global wine scene.
