Launched in 2018 in Botafogo, Tutto Nhoque has grown from a cozy Italian table into a citywide favorite for comforting food, signature recipes, and a warm, easygoing vibe. It now runs three locations in Rio de Janeiro—Botafogo, BarraShopping, and Shopping Nova América—each with its own feel, all tied together by the same culinary identity.

At the center of the brand is chef Helena Murucci. A great-granddaughter of Italians, she grew up around fresh pasta made by hand—memories that still guide the menu. After leaving the corporate world in 2014, she pursued her culinary dream and later teamed up with partners Rudy Leite and Guilherme Mendes to bring Tutto Nhoque to life.

What each location feels like

The Botafogo flagship is known for its red door and pink bougainvillea, a charming contrast to the neighborhood’s bustle. At BarraShopping and Nova América, the concept carries over with modern, comfortable seating—ideal for a midday break or a relaxed dinner.

R$ 69 Executive Menu

From Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) until 4pm, Tutto Nhoque serves an Executive Menu with starter, main, and dessert for R$ 69. The selection changes every two weeks, keeping things fresh while staying true to the chef’s style.

Menu highlights

To start, the Couvert Tutto (R$ 47) pairs a bread basket with Parma ham, seasoned mozzarella, seasoned olives, Sicilian lemon butter, and sardella. Fan favorites include the Burrata Apúlia (R$ 52), wrapped in the house dough with confit tomatoes and pesto sauce, and the Arancini Manzo (R$ 38, 4 pieces), fried risotto bites with slow-cooked beef ragu, Gruyère, and roasted-garlic aioli.

The bruschettas lean creative, too—Crudo al Tartufo (R$ 18), Di Capra (R$ 18), and a Vegan Classic (R$ 17) set the tone early on.

For lighter picks, salads such as Caprese (R$ 26), Atum Bloccato (R$ 69), and Piatto Di Lampedusa (R$ 69) deliver freshness without losing intensity.

The headline act is right in the name: gnocchi. Made in-house with original recipes, the dough varies—potato, baroa, pumpkin, cassava, and more—opening the door to multiple combinations. Standouts include Nonna Meméia (R$ 74), cassava gnocchi with shrimp sauce and grilled shrimp; Nonna Dayse (R$ 63), potato gnocchi with lamb ragu and mint gremolata; and Nonna Geralda (R$ 55), pumpkin gnocchi with pot-roast beef ragu and Parmesan fonduta.

Sauces range from Bolognese (R$ 27) and Sugo (R$ 26) to sausage ragu (R$ 27) and shrimp with sparkling wine (R$ 35), plus vegan jackfruit “meat” ragu (R$ 35). For a memorable finish, toppings take the spotlight—Crispy Pancetta (R$ 8), Grana Padano (R$ 15), and Raclette (R$ 18) melted tableside.

Comfort classics include Lasagne al Vulcano de Costela (R$ 61) and Lasagne Bolognese (R$ 59), both topped with crispy pancetta. Pasta staples like Fettuccines alla Carbonara (R$ 53) and Cacio e Pepe (R$ 69) round out the Italian core.

Activated-charcoal pizzas and “Chicago” style

From 6pm (except weekends and holidays), Tutto Nhoque also serves pizza, including an activated-charcoal dough in the Carbone line, such as Paradiso Nero (R$ 59). Traditional options like Margarita Tutto (R$ 54) and Portuguesa (R$ 54) are available as well, always with the house twist.

For a bigger statement, the Chicago pizzas stand out: Pizza de Chicago da Chef (R$ 108) comes with plenty of mozzarella, house tomato sauce, pork sausage, and crisped bacon. Pizza de Chicago de Costolette (R$ 129) is stuffed with braised pork ribs, the house cheese blend, then finished with cream cheese and smoked guava paste.

Desserts worth saving room for

The most-ordered sweets include Cuccino di Nutella (R$ 36), a slow-fermented dough filled with Nutella and cashew brittle. Tiramisú (R$ 21) keeps it classic, while Latte al Limone (R$ 36) uses a pizza-dough base with dulce de leche and Sicilian lemon zest.

Across all three addresses, Tutto Nhoque leans into Italian tradition with a contemporary, affectionate touch—built for long conversations, generous plates, and repeat visits.
