Celebrate Rio de Janeiro’s anniversary with special menus at T.T. Burger, Sheraton Grand Rio, and Emile Restaurant — three culinary experiences that capture the city’s essence.
As March kicks off, Rio’s culinary scene invites locals and visitors to celebrate the city’s birthday in style. From gourmet burgers to fine dining with ocean views, each spot offers a unique taste of Carioca culture.
T.T. Burger – the Carioca taste reinvented
Created by chef Thomas Troisgros, T.T. Burger celebrates Rio with bold, handcrafted recipes. The new Goiabacon (R$49.90) mixes Angus beef, crispy bacon, and the signature Goiabada Ketchup. Classics like the T.T. Burger (R$59.90) and the double-patty Gordinho (R$39.90) remain local favorites.
Sides like Thomas’ fries, Tom Ticken wings, and Shrimpipoca complement the menu, while alcohol-free Sacodes shakes make the perfect match for sunny Rio days.
Sheraton Grand Rio – gastronomy with a view
The Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort combines two great dining experiences: the refined L’Etoile, led by Juan José Molina, offering dishes like Octopus and Heart of Palm (R$117), and the cozy Bene, under Ataniel Sousa, serving comforting dishes such as Pollo alla Cacciatora (R$99).
Emile – contemporary elegance in Copacabana
Located in Copacabana, Emile Restaurant focuses on local producers and refined Brazilian-inspired cuisine. Breakfast (R$170) includes artisanal breads, eggs Benedict, and tapiocas. Dinner highlights include filet mignon with yogurt, pumpkin, and molasses (R$158) and catch of the day with sparkling wine sauce (R$166).
Balancing sophistication and authenticity, Emile offers a sensory experience ideal for celebrating Rio in style.
