L’Oréal Brazil, through its Dermatological Beauty Division, is hosting two webinars on the challenges and opportunities of Inclusive Dermatology. The sessions take place on November 25 (5:00 PM) and November 28 (11:30 AM) and aim to boost Brazilian scientific research and guide submissions for the 2nd Inclusive Dermatology Award.
Webinar objectives
The online meetings will discuss the need for more representative research for Brazilian skin, focusing on historically marginalized populations such as Black, Indigenous, and transgender people. They will also guide researchers and students on project submission processes.
About the Inclusive Dermatology Award
In its second edition, the award seeks to strengthen studies addressing the diverse realities of Brazilian skin. Four projects will receive grants of R$ 50,000 each in the areas of Acne and oily skin; Skin barrier; Scalp and hair fiber; and Photoprotection and hyperpigmentation.
Registration and deadlines
The award accepts both completed and ongoing studies. Applications must be submitted through the official platform by December 4, 2025. Preliminary results will be announced from March 23, 2026.
