Just before stepping onto the most prestigious red carpet in the film industry, Brazilian actor Gabriel Leone partnered with TRUSS Professional for a bold new look. The result is the Absolute Platinum shade, an exclusive creation by hairstylist and brand ambassador Melissa Schlukebier, one of Brazil’s most respected names in hair beauty.

The transformation anchors the brand’s Absolute Cinema campaign and marks a milestone: the first major men’s hair makeover signed by TRUSS. Unlike previous character-driven changes Leone has undergone for film roles, this one carries a broader personal meaning — a statement moment at a career-defining point.

The way I look as a character is one of the most important parts of the process for me. I’m always looking for something new to help tell the story. I was so happy with TRUSS’s invitation to make this moment even more special. Gabriel Leone, actor

The science behind the platinum

Platinum bleaching is one of the most chemically demanding processes in hair coloring. To achieve a result that was both visually striking and healthy, Schlukebier followed a comprehensive treatment protocol. TRUSS’s hero line, Uso Obrigatório, was used to help rebuild and protect the hair fiber before, during, and after the bleaching process.

Brazil shines on the global awards circuit

The new look coincides with a historic moment for Brazilian cinema. Gabriel Leone is part of the cast of a Brazilian feature competing for one of the evening’s top awards. Alongside him, actress Alice Carvalho also received a TRUSS-signed transformation as part of the same campaign. Together, the two actors represent Brazil in the race for Best Ensemble at one of the world’s most-watched film events.

A musical debut to complete the week

The week proved doubly significant for Leone. Alongside the awards night, the actor released his debut album as a singer — Minhas Lágrimas — now available on all major streaming platforms. The record features ten songs by celebrated Brazilian composers, shining a light on lesser-known tracks from the MPB tradition.

It’s an album with ten songs by some of the greatest composers in MPB — legendary names, but these are the B-side tracks, the lesser-known ones. We made beautiful versions of them. I’m very happy and very proud of the final result. Gabriel Leone, actor and singer
