Over 40 new perfumes hit stores and marketplaces as MCG taps Arab-inspired trends with partners in Morocco and France to widen access to fine fragrance.
Brazil’s MCG Indústria is entering the fragrance category with an exclusive perfume line designed to deliver sophistication and competitive pricing. The move targets shoppers drawn to bold, long-lasting profiles—an audience boosted by the growing popularity of Arab-inspired scents in Brazil.
The company frames the launch within the broader rise of Arab perfumes across Western markets, including Europe and the United States, with Brazil emerging as a standout. MCG’s thesis is that consumers want high-impact compositions and value, but not everyone can reach premium price tiers.
40+ scents, with manufacturing in Brazil
MCG’s initial portfolio includes more than 40 fragrances aimed at different consumer profiles. Part of the lineup will be produced entirely in Brazil, reinforcing the company’s stated commitment to local industry as it expands into higher value-added goods.
To broaden olfactive range and keep quality consistent, MCG has also signed strategic agreements with fragrance manufacturers in Morocco and France, both globally recognized for scent development. The brand’s positioning blends variety, sensory performance, and industrial efficiency.
Growth plan and multichannel distribution
According to Dimitri Ferreira, MCG’s director, the launch is part of the company’s growth and industrial diversification strategy. “Entering the fragrance segment is fully aligned with our plan for growth and industrial diversification. We’re expanding our portfolio with a high value-added product, in a fast-growing category with strong potential in Brazil and Latin America,” he says.
He adds that the strategy is built on scale, competitiveness, and brand positioning. “By combining Brazilian manufacturing with established international partnerships, we can deliver high-standard fragrances with industrial efficiency and accessible prices. This strengthens our presence in consumer goods and opens new growth avenues for MCG,” he adds.
MCG perfumes will be sold through physical retail and major marketplaces across Brazil and Latin America, expanding reach through a multichannel approach from day one.
Farma Conde is first retailer onboard
The first chain to carry MCG perfumes is Farma Conde. In recent days, four special fragrances arrived in its stores as well as on the retailer’s website and app.
Among the new releases, the company highlights Aurum Voyage as one of the perfumes developed for its category debut.
