Designed to capture Barcelona’s cultural brilliance and Mediterranean lifestyle, Musc Éternel also reflects Majestic’s classic elegance and long-standing ties to the fashion world. Through a diffusion system, the scent is present in key spaces such as the reception area, lobby, and corridors, shaping the hotel’s olfactory identity.

The composition balances refinement with energy. Top notes blend bergamot, sage, tea, and blackcurrant. The heart unfolds with white flowers and ripe fig. A warm base of musk, moss, and American cedar adds depth and lasting character.

Aligned with sustainability goals, the fragrance is made with 92% naturally derived ingredients and uses responsible packaging materials, including FSC-certified cardboard and wood from sustainable sources.

Built around the ideas of timelessness and universality, Musc Éternel invites guests and visitors to reconnect with memorable moments at the Majestic, now reimagined with a contemporary edge. With a unisex profile, it also stands out as an inviting ambient fragrance for a wide audience.

Beyond public areas, every room features scented candles made with the same essence, extending the sensory experience throughout the stay.

About Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

“In the world of luxury hotels, the old is the new.” This is how experts often describe historic, tradition-rich properties such as Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona.

Set on the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, the hotel embraces a distinctly historic spirit and remains closely connected to Barcelona’s cultural life. It has hosted figures such as Ernest Hemingway and Antonio Machado. Following a five-year renovation led by interior designer Antonio Obrador, it reaffirmed its place in the city’s iconography.

Founded in 1918 and owned ever since by the Soldevila-Casals family, the Majestic has been part of Barcelona’s architecture, society, and cultural scene for more than a century. Housed in a French neoclassical building, it is known for views of landmarks such as the Sagrada Família and Casa Batlló.

Its culinary offering is led by Catalan chef Nandu Jubany, who holds one Michelin star, and blends Mediterranean cuisine focused on local sourcing with Catalan tradition and international influences. The hotel’s breakfast was named Best in Europe in 2018 by the Prix Villégiature, which also awarded the rooftop La Dolce Vitae as Best Hotel Terrace in Europe in 2019.

Since 2014, the Majestic has been part of The Leading Hotels of the World and received the “Remarkably Uncommon” award in 2018.

Committed to quality and environmental care, the hotel holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. It also promotes sustainable initiatives such as the slow food Km 0 restaurant, a spa featuring environmentally responsible brands, and conscious tourism experiences like “Farm to Table”, which includes visits to its orchard in Argentona and organic wineries in Alta Alella. The Majestic also supports green mobility with free parking for bicycles and scooters, and offers year-round wellbeing activities such as yoga classes and nutritional guidance.
