3030 brings Acoustic Origins show to Cine Joia

Brazilian rap trio 3030 celebrates their EP Origens with an acoustic show at São Paulo’s Cine Joia on March 14, blending rap, poetry, and MPB roots. One of Brazil’s most respected rap groups, 3030 — formed by LK, Bruno Chelles, and Rod — brings the Acústico Origens show to São Paulo. The night celebrates the release of their new EP Origens and revisits the sonic foundations that shaped the trio’s artistic identity.

A journey back to their roots

The show draws directly from the concept behind the new EP, which traces a musical path through the essence of 3030‘s sound. Featuring rap, poetry, acoustic guitars, percussion, and references to Brazilian popular music, the performance offers both a look back and a glimpse forward. “When people say ‘this sound is so 3030,’ it’s not just a compliment. It’s a signature,” the group explains in describing the project’s vision.

O Mundo e Ela and the EP’s sound

The single O Mundo e Ela captures the EP’s aesthetic perfectly. Sunny and organic in feel, the track combines the group’s signature flow with influences from MPB (Brazilian Popular Music), creating a seamless bridge between rap and Brazil’s broader musical tradition.

The venue: Cine Joia

The show takes place at Cine Joia, one of São Paulo’s most iconic live music venues. Located in the Liberdade neighborhood, it features a retro architecture with a main floor and mezzanine. Originally opened in 1952 as a cinema serving the Japanese-Brazilian community, the building was revitalized and reopened in 2011 as a cultural and entertainment space.
