A Olívia performs “Obrigado por Perguntar” at Estéreo MIS on April 17, with Lúcio Maia and a new visual segment.
The São Paulo band A Olívia will take the stage of Estéreo MIS on April 17 with the tour for their album “Obrigado por Perguntar.” The show will feature a special guest appearance by Lúcio Maia and a brand-new visual segment inspired by their EP “Selva Rock Brasileira.”
Released in 2025, the record draws from everyday experiences to explore themes like collective exhaustion, emotional disconnection, and the need for reconnection in a chaotic world — all infused with humor, irony, and sharp hooks.
Blending indie, punk, reggae, and pop, the album defines the identity of Louis Vidall (vocals), Pedro Tiepolo (bass), Marcelo Rosado (guitar), and Pedro Lauletta (drums). The tour has already visited 13 cities across six Brazilian states and even extended abroad, including a show in Buenos Aires and an opening for Frejat in São Paulo.
“This album was born from a time when everyone feels exhausted, overloaded with information, anxiety, and distance. ‘Obrigado por Perguntar’ is our way of responding — expressing what’s stuck inside, but still wanting to reconnect with others.”
