Abel & Benício release “Meio do Plano” featuring Panda and begin the sertanejo project “Véspera de Feriado”.

Rising names in the sertanejo scene, Abel & Benício join Panda on the new single “Meio do Plano”, which opens the project “Véspera de Feriado”. The track blends romance and intensity, narrating a forbidden love lived between fear and desire.

Re-recordings and guest artists

The first volume of the project includes 15 re-recordings of major sertanejo hits, with songs by Luan Santana, Jorge & Mateus, Israel & Rodolffo, and a special version of “Eu Ligo Pra Você” featuring Diego & Victor Hugo. All tracks are accompanied by live videos.

Artists’ perspective

“This DVD celebrates our current phase, more mature but still connected to the party, the good vibes and the emotion. It blends sertanejo romance with the joyful spirit of a holiday eve, when everyone wants to sing, have fun and connect. We hope listeners feel exactly that: lightness, joy and truth in every song,” says Abel.

The DVD was recorded at Tatu Bola bar in Uberlândia, with artistic direction by Rafael Vannucci and musical production by Júnior Melo. The project includes appearances by Diego & Victor Hugo, Panda, JIRAYA UAI and US Agroboy.

“Recording ‘Véspera de Feriado’ was one of the most intense and special experiences of our career. The energy of Uberlândia, the audience and the friends who joined us created a light and genuine atmosphere. It marked a new chapter, shaped by hard work, growth and learning, and shows who we are today. A turning point with our identity in every detail,” says Benicio.

Career and background

Before the new project, the duo released “Certas Manias”, their first album under Sony Music. It featured tracks such as “Do Final Pro Começo”, “Dois Pé no Peito”, “Copo Americano”, “Certas Manias”, “Sinal de Saudade” and “Hoje Eu Não Saio”.

Abel & Benício stand out for combining authenticity, musicality and the union of traditional and modern elements. They have recently appeared at major events, including Rancho do Sertanejeiro, in Barretos (SP).

About Abel & Benício

Benicio began his musical journey in 2020 after moving to Jataí (GO) for college. His early performances in bars shaped his first professional steps and fueled his artistic growth. In 2022, he moved to Goiânia, where he met Abel.

Abel already had a strong background as a composer, with songs recorded by Gusttavo Lima, Israel & Rodolffo, Jads & Jadson, César Menotti & Fabiano and Matheus & Kauan. Meeting Benicio marked the beginning of a promising musical partnership.
