Airbnb debuts its first Lollapalooza Brazil experience, led by Paula Areias, giving fans backstage access during the March festival.
Driven by Gen Z, Airbnb saw a surge of nearly 140% in searches for São Paulo stays during Lollapalooza Brazil 2026. The festival will run from March 20 to 22 at the Autódromo de Interlagos, gathering top names from the global music scene.
A first-of-its-kind backstage tour
For the first time, Airbnb introduces an exclusive Lollapalooza experience, hosted by Paula Areias, Partnerships Director at Rock World. Participants will explore backstage areas, the family & friends lounge, and enjoy a premium viewing spot close to the stage.
Available on March 20 and 22, the experience costs R$260 per person and is limited to 10 adults per group. Festival tickets are sold separately. Bookings are open at airbnb.com/lollabrasil2026.
“I can’t wait to open the doors, tell real stories, and share the energy that brings a festival to life beyond the stage,” said Paula Areias.
Music tourism on the rise
According to Airbnb, Gen Z travelers make up 70% of searches related to the festival. Top cities include Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, and Brasília — as well as London, Los Angeles, and Santiago among international visitors.
“Music festivals go beyond concerts — they’re moments to connect deeply and make unforgettable memories,” noted Fiamma Zarife, Airbnb’s General Director for South America.
