The show marks 80 years since Almir Guineto’s birth, a samba icon. At Teatro Rival Petrobras on January 8, son Almir Serra (Almirzinho) revives hits like “Conselho”, “Caxambu”, “Lama nas Ruas”, “Insensato Destino” and “Mel na Boca”.
Fresh takes with emotion and guests
Conceived by Almirzinho, it highlights Guineto’s strength, poetry and roots. New arrangements showcase the revolutionary samba composer’s modernity and groove.
Special guests Toninho Geraes, Marcelinho Moreira and Pedro Mussum add heartfelt memories and contemporary spins.
