The 71st Festa do Peão de Barretos adds Ana Castela, Country Beat and five more acts to the August 21 lineup.
Brazil’s biggest rodeo festival, Festa do Peão de Barretos, has just announced seven new names for the first Friday of its 2026 edition, on August 21. Ana Castela and the electronic-sertanejo project Country Beat join the Estádio de Rodeios Stage, which already featured Wesley Safadão and Natanzinho Lima.
Ana Castela: a milestone at the Barretão
One of Brazil’s biggest country-pop stars, Ana Castela will reach a milestone in 2026: her fifth consecutive performance at Barretos. She served as the festival’s ambassador in 2025 and has built a loyal following among the event’s massive audience.
Known for blending agro culture with mainstream pop, her chart-topping streaming hits make her one of the most-streamed Brazilian artists today — a profile that fits Barretos perfectly.
Country Beat brings electronic energy to the rodeo
Also confirmed on the main stage, Country Beat offers a fresh take on the traditional festival format by merging electronic music with the sertanejo universe. The project is recognized for high-energy, dynamic sets that create a distinct experience within the classic rodeo atmosphere.
Palco Amanhecer: dancing until sunrise
The Palco Amanhecer (Sunrise Stage) continues to grow as one of the festival’s most sought-after spaces. On August 21, confirmed acts include Belo, Henrique & Diego, Lorena, Bruno & Denner, and João Neto & Frederico. The stage is designed to keep the party going until dawn, with a diverse lineup covering multiple Brazilian genres.
The Palco Amanhecer will once again host major names in Brazilian music. Beyond the artists, the venue’s setup will be one of the highlights of this space.

Other confirmed acts for the festival
The 71st edition already has a strong lineup beyond August 21. The opening night on August 20 will feature Panda and the duo Matheus & Kauan. Festival ambassador Gusttavo Lima is set to perform twice, on August 22 and 29.
