“Músicas para brincar, ventar e voar!” marks Ana Pê’s musical debut — a playful manifesto on childhood, emotions, and diversity.
On March 20, Brazilian artist and educator Ana Pê releases her first original children’s album on all digital platforms. Blending lightness and reflection, the project features nine original tracks that explore care, body awareness, gender, diversity, and the fundamental right to play.
Produced by Luiz Brasil, the album gathers acclaimed musicians such as Charles Gavin (Titãs) on drums, Daniela Spielmann on sax and flute, singer Beatriz Rabello, and actors Thelmo Fernandes and Bruno Ganem. Mixing and mastering were done by Leonardo Gheventer (Delart).
With over 25 years in performing and art education, Ana Pê transforms her research into a musical journey that invites children and adults alike to listen, question, and feel. “The album opens room for play, reflection, and breathing amidst the challenges of growing,” she explains.
Highlights include the rock track “Meu corpo, meu templo sagrado,” about body autonomy, the blues “Quem disse que menino não chora?,” and the colorful “Bloco das crianças” and “Espelho, espelho meu!,” which celebrate self-esteem and diversity. The duet “Mãe Natureza,” with Beatriz Rabello, pays tribute to Earth and ecological awareness.
The record blends rock, blues, ska, baião, and MPB, creating a joyful and reflective musical space. “Músicas para brincar, ventar e voar!” is more than a children’s album — it’s a poetic manifesto for empathy and imagination.
