Twisted Sister returns as Saturday headliner

One of the major attractions at Bangers Open Air 2026 is TWISTED SISTER, returning to the stage to celebrate 50 years of history with the world tour “Twisted Forever, Forever Twisted”. With more than 35 million records sold, tours in over 40 countries and two Hall of Fame inductions, the American band brings a monumental legacy to São Paulo.

The current line-up features Dee Snider (vocals), Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda (guitars), Russell Pzütto (bass) and Joe Franco (drums). Fans will relive anthems such as “I Wanna Rock” and “We’re Not Gonna Take It” in a celebration of half a century of one of the most iconic bands in hard rock and heavy metal.

The TWISTED SISTER set is expected to revisit landmark albums like “Under the Blade” (1982), “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘n’ Roll” (1983), “Stay Hungry” (1984), “Come Out and Play” (1985), “Love Is for Suckers” (1987), as well as “Still Hungry” (2004) and “A Twisted Christmas” (2006). Their appearance at Bangers Open Air is poised to be one of 2026’s must-see metal moments.

Angra headlines Sunday with 25 years of “Rebirth”

The second festival day is headlined by ANGRA, which prepares a unique show in Brazil at Bangers Open Air 2026 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the classic album “Rebirth”. This special performance will reunite the Nova Era line-up – Edu Falaschi, Kiko Loureiro, Rafael Bittencourt, Felipe Andreoli and Aquiles Priester – sharing the stage with the band’s current members.

The concert will be split into two distinct parts, each representing a key chapter in the history of this cornerstone of Brazilian heavy metal. The Nova Era period will take center stage, revisiting songs that helped cement ANGRA’s international status.
