Beéle unveils “lençóis maranhenses”, new Sony Music single blending tribal and Caribbean sounds, with a video directed by Saumeth.
Multi-platinum artist Beéle has released his new single “lençóis maranhenses”, now available on all digital platforms via Sony Music, along with its official music video.
Following the global success of his 26-track album BORONDO — which debuted at #5 on Spotify’s Top Global Albums chart and brought the artist to #14 on the Top Global Artists list — Beéle returns with a track that balances rhythm, vulnerability, and passion in equal measure.
Later this month, he will perform BORONDO Live in a series of sold-out shows at Bogotá’s Movistar Arena.
International acclaim
Last week, Beéle shone at the LOS40 Music Awards Santander 2025, taking home two major awards: Best Latin Album (Global Latin Category) for BORONDO and Best Collaboration (Urban) for “Hiekka,” featuring Nicky Jam.
Sound and concept
“lençóis maranhenses” captures the essence of a moment suspended in desire. Driven by flute, keys, and percussive beats, the song blends tribal energy with a modern Caribbean pulse.
The result is a romantic and danceable track that feels both intimate and liberating. The music video, directed by Saumeth, features model Sara Orrego.
“Mírame un momento, bésame lento y mátame, luego revíveme” (“Look at me for a moment, kiss me slowly and kill me, then bring me back to life”).
With this new release, Beéle reinforces his talent for merging romance, rhythm, and emotion, solidifying his place in contemporary Latin music.
