Birushanah blends percussion, Japanese traditional scales, sludge and doom at Sesc Avenida Paulista on December 9, Tuesday, at 8 p.m..
Formed in Osaka, the band delivers tribal rhythms and dissonant riffs. Seiji Iso (guitar/vocals), Seiji Yasuda (bass) and Atsushi Sano (drums) released six albums. Toured with Eyehategod and Melt-Banana.

Highlight “Makyo”, slow meditative heaviness. “Mangetsu” features unconventional percussion with rhythmic impact. “Kojiki” fuses Japanese folklore with sludge aggression.
