A Full Month Spotlighting Female Artistry

Throughout March, Blue Note São Paulo turns its spotlight to the women who have shaped Brazilian music. Aligned with Women’s Month, the club presents a lineup that spans generations and genres — from jazz and MPB to soul, tropicália, and rock — with world-class performances in an intimate setting.

Historic tributes, original projects, and orchestral spectacles come together to reaffirm Blue Note SP as a destination for singular cultural experiences in São Paulo.

Baby do Brasil: Exclusive “Meu Projeto Blue” Sessions

On March 27 and 28, at 8 PM and 10:30 PM, Baby do Brasil takes the blue stage with “Meu Projeto Blue – Special Session”, a show conceived exclusively for the club’s intimate atmosphere. The performance offers a musical perspective unlike anything the iconic artist has presented recently.

Built around closeness and deep listening, the project unveils new layers of interpretation and repertoire, highlighting rarely explored facets of Baby’s remarkable career. Rather than revisiting hits, she proposes a singular artistic experience designed specifically for these São Paulo nights.

Vannick Belchior Honors Her Father’s 80th Birthday

On March 19, at 10:30 PM, Vannick Belchior presents “Meu Nome é Cem” (My Name Is One Hundred), a tribute to her father, singer-songwriter and visual artist Antônio Carlos Belchior, who would have turned 80 in 2026.

Conceived and led by Vannick, the project weaves together music, literature, and visual arts into a poetic and emotional journey through one of Brazilian popular music’s most iconic legacies. On the Blue Note stage, the performance takes on an intimate tone, honoring the power of Belchior’s words and melodies across generations.

An evening that invites the audience to rediscover timeless verses through a new lens — feminine, contemporary, and deeply rooted.

O Som Delas: Brasil Jazz Sinfônica Big Band

On March 14, at 8 PM and 10:30 PM, the Blue Note SP hosts “O Som Delas” (The Sound of Them), a spectacular show by the Brasil Jazz Sinfônica Big Band celebrating female voices in music through full orchestral power.

Sophisticated arrangements and the ensemble’s signature sonic grandeur highlight repertoires defined by women who shaped Brazilian and international music history. A celebration that bridges tradition and contemporary artistry in one sweeping performance.

Tali: Fat Family’s Legacy and a Voice of Her Own

On March 12, at 10:30 PM, Blue Note SP welcomes Tali, daughter of Deise Cipriano, the beloved lead vocalist of Brazilian group Fat Family. Tali forges her own path, building on a deeply emotional musical inheritance.

Her set features original compositions alongside nods to icons like Jill Scott and Alicia Keys, anchored in soul and R&B aesthetics. The show also pays homage to the Fat Family classics that left a lasting mark on Brazilian music, all in an intimate format tailored to the blue stage’s unique atmosphere.
