Bossa Nova Mall marks its 10th anniversary with a free Yumi Park concert honoring bossa nova and samba jazz.
A decade of history celebrated
Bossa Nova Mall celebrates its 10th anniversary with a special event that reinforces its connection to the essence of Rio. The shopping center presents Bossa no Bossa, a musical gathering with Yumi Park, the South American singer based in Rio de Janeiro, who performs with her quartet in a tribute to bossa nova and samba jazz.
Carioca spirit and musical tribute
“Bossa Nova Mall is the most charming gateway to Rio de Janeiro, and celebrating these 10 years means celebrating the city. Today we are part of the landscape and local routine, and we will continue offering experiences that reflect Rio’s lifestyle, valuing culture, music and well-being in a unique setting,” says Daniel Azevedo, superintendent of the shopping center managed by Alqia.
Yumi Park performs at the Event Square on November 18 alongside renowned musicians, celebrating Brazilian instrumental music in a night dedicated to bossa nova and samba jazz. The show is free and open to the public.
Significance of the mall for the city
With a privileged view of Guanabara Bay and located next to Santos Dumont Airport, Bossa Nova Mall receives more than 6,000 visitors per month. Over the past decade, it has become a gathering point that combines convenience, gastronomy, leisure and culture.
