Brazilian band steps onto one of Europe’s biggest stages
Brazilian rock band StarAce has just secured a spot at one of Europe’s most prestigious rock events. The group is officially confirmed in the lineup of Barcelona Rock Fest 2026, with their performance set for July 3rd in the Barcelona region of Spain.
The confirmation places the São Paulo-based band on the same stage as rock heavyweights Megadeth, Sex Pistols, The Offspring, Powerwolf, Bad Religion, Accept and Sabaton. The festival draws tens of thousands of fans from across the globe each year and has long established itself as one of the premier rock and heavy metal events on the European calendar.
REAL: a debut album built for the world stage
The festival appearance comes at a defining moment for StarAce. In October 2025, the band released “REAL”, their official studio debut. The album blends classic rock foundations with blues, folk and Americana influences, shaped into an intense, emotionally driven journey across 12 tracks.
The record was produced by David Frangioni, whose credits include Aerosmith, KISS and Ringo Starr. Recorded in São Paulo, it was mixed by Grammy winner Charles Dye, known for his work with Bon Jovi, Ricky Martin and Julio Iglesias.
The album also features guest appearances by Derek Sherinian (Alice Cooper, KISS, Dream Theater) and Felipe Roseno (Ney Matogrosso, Maria Gadú), highlighting the project’s broad artistic reach.
The title track making waves internationally
Following singles “When the Light Has Gone,” “My America” and “Right in the Middle,” the band’s current focus is “Real” — the album’s title track and flagship release. The song has been steadily gaining traction on streaming platforms and radio stations across multiple regions, building momentum ahead of the international tour.

StarAce is made up of brothers Julio Starace (vocals and guitar), Luiz Starace (bass) and Thomaz Starace (drums), joined by Chris Dias (lead guitar) and Bia Tucci (keyboards, acoustic guitar and vocals). The band has been steadily building a reputation for powerful live performances and a distinctive sound in the contemporary rock scene.
