Cacá Magalhães debuts her new show, “Cacá”, at São Paulo’s Artsy Club on March 12. Designed as an open rehearsal, the performance creates a direct connection between artist and audience through honesty, freedom, and emotion.

Her unique voice bridges pop, rock, and soul influences with echoes of Brazilian rock from the 1980s — from Legião Urbana and Barão Vermelho to the raw energy of Cássia Eller, Charlie Brown Jr., and Los Hermanos.

A new creative phase

In this new chapter, Cacá not only sings but also composes and arranges her own material. Many songs are unreleased, unveiling her most authentic artistic identity under the direction of Theo Silva.

“In ‘Cacá’, I show who I truly am through melodies, harmonies and interpretations that feel entirely like me,” she explains.

From viral sensation to rising star

At 13, her powerful rendition of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” went viral, leading to early recognition. In 2023 she released her debut album, “Só Sinto”, via Sony Music, featuring 11 songs co-written with her sister Maju Magalhães during the pandemic.

By 2024, she earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. Since then, she has performed at major festivals like Samsung Best of Blues & Jazz and Fest Bossa & Jazz, and appeared on Brazilian TV shows including “Encontro com Fátima Bernardes”.
