Led by Carlinhos Brown, the summer project returns with two remarkable voices. Sued Nunes, nominated for the 2025 Latin Grammy as Best New Artist for her album Travessia, represents a new wave of Brazilian music. Born in Sapeaçu, Bahia, she blends regional roots with contemporary sounds.
Simone, celebrating 50 years of career, takes the stage after touring Brazil with her acclaimed Tô Voltando tour. Her current show, Simone, revisits classic songs and introduces new musical moments from her recent work.
The return of Sarau du Brown
Created in 2003, Sarau du Brown became a landmark event celebrating Afro-Brazilian music, art, and culture, bringing together established and emerging artists in performances that mix percussion, dance, fashion, and visual arts. After a two-year break, the project returns with editions scheduled for Nov 23, Dec 14, and Jan 11 at Candyall Guetho Square in Candeal, Salvador.
The new season’s theme, “Paixão de Rua” (“Street Passion”), celebrates the street as a natural stage of the people — a space for freedom, protest, and celebration. The event blends urban art, percussion, and community energy into a vibrant expression of Brazilian creativity.
