Sonically, the track creates a deliberate meeting point between pop—a lane Carol Biazin has already made her own—and sertanejo, a core part of Leo Foguete’s musical identity. The fusion lands as warm and accessible, pairing heartbreak intensity with radio-ready momentum.

Carol says the song has been around for nearly three years and stayed on hold until the right timing and collaboration arrived. “This is a song that’s existed for almost three years. It stayed tucked away for a long time, waiting for the right moment and the partnership I felt was ideal for the track. Lately, I started listening a lot to Leo’s work, we talked, he jumped on it, and everything made sense. I felt it needed someone who could bring the musical world he carries. It was also the first time I used accordion in one of my songs, which added a new layer to the track,” she says.

Las Vegas video shot on Super 8

The release also comes with a music video filmed in Las Vegas, during Carol’s trip for the Latin Grammy, where her album “No Escuro, Quem É Você?” was nominated for Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese. With an intimate, nostalgic mood, the video was shot on Super 8 film, leaning into themes of memory, time, and emotion that echo the song.
