Casa Horto heats up January with Feyjão and Suricato

Feyjão kicks off two Sunday sets at P’Alma Sessions, followed by Rocket Man, Suricato and Danni Carlos at Casa Horto in Rio’s Jardim Botânico.

Casa Horto continues its P’Alma Sessions run with intimate pocket shows at P’Alma, the venue’s gastrobar. Set near Christ the Redeemer and surrounded by Jardim Botânico’s lush greenery, the series pairs live music with a strong food-and-drink experience in one of Rio’s most scenic corners.

Feyjão takes over two Sundays

On January 18 and 25, at 5pm, Feyjão hits the stage. A singer, songwriter and cultural producer, he moves easily between samba, MPB and pop, blending Brazilian classics with original songs such as “Reza,” widely known from Maria Rita’s recording.

After playing major stages and collaborating with Thiaguinho, Natiruts and Marcelo D2, he brings a high-energy set designed for the close, feel-good vibe of P’Alma Sessions.

Rocket Man & Friends channels Elton John and pop classics

On January 20 and 27, at 8pm, singer and pianist Rafa Direito brings Rocket Man & Friends to Casa Horto. Inspired by Elton John staples and international pop and rock hits, the show features special guests and bold reinterpretations.

Suricato brings award-winning folk/rock

On January 22, at 8pm, Rodrigo Suricato takes the spotlight. A 2016 Latin Grammy winner and a leading name in Brazil’s folk/rock scene, he fronts the SURICATO project and has played major festivals including Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza.

Since 2017, he has also been a member of Barão Vermelho, helping refresh the band’s legacy while keeping its signature spirit alive.

Danni Carlos closes the month with “On The Rocks”

Wrapping up the month, Danni Carlos performs on January 29 at 8pm with “On The Rocks.” The setlist spans career highlights, including songs from the Rock ’N Road series, plus tracks from “Livre” and “Música Nova,” which earned a Latin Grammy nomination.

Backed by her band, she promises a punchy night that blends rock, pop and emotion in the intimate setting of P’Alma Sessions.
