Brazil’s Cascavel Band releases “Nossa História” with the single “Vou Pagar Pra Ver,” celebrating 24 years of forró tradition.
On March 16, the band opened a new chapter with the release of “Nossa História.” The project debuted with “Vou Pagar Pra Ver,” now streaming on all platforms and featuring a YouTube video distributed by Sua Música Digital. The launch date honors the band’s very first show, exactly 24 years ago.
Performed by Isaías Lima and Déborah Laís, the song tells a story of regret and the desire to redeem lost love. Filled with emotion, it captures the romantic energy that defines Cascavel’s forró style.
Recorded at Vila Sítio São João in Campina Grande, Paraíba, the audiovisual production blends nostalgia with celebration, featuring detailed scenography and high-quality visuals that honor northeastern culture.
The project includes special guests like Samya Maia, JM Puxado, Kelly Silva, Eliane Fernandes, Maciel Valente, Carlinhos Caiçara, Ramon Costa, and groups such as Banda Styllus, Collo de Menina, and Encantu’s. The setlist revisits beloved hits like “Mil Tentativas,” “Eu Sem Você,” and “Como um Cristal.”
Formed in 2002 in Timbaúba, Pernambuco, Cascavel became known for their heartfelt performances and signature romantic sound. “Nossa História” honors this legacy, reconnecting the band with fans through timeless forró classics.
