End-of-year celebration with high energy
Celebra CBJR ends 2025 with a special show on December 19 at 8 p.m., at Bulldog Rock Bar in Pechincha, Rio de Janeiro. The concert will be recorded live and will bring together fans and friends in a festive night celebrating the legacy of Charlie Brown Jr.
Created in Rio by Kauan Calazans and Kadu Carvalho in 2019, the project aims to keep alive the urban poetry, attitude, and energy that made Charlie Brown Jr. one of Brazil’s most iconic rock bands. More than revisiting hits, the project revives the free and authentic spirit that defined generations.
Band and background
For 2025, Celebra CBJR returns with its full lineup: Kauan Calazans (vocals, Folks), Kadu Carvalho (guitar, Swell), Matego (guitar), Vince (drums, Swell), and Felipe Leira (bass). The musicians have direct ties to Charlie Brown Jr.’s history. In 2013, Kauan opened a show for A Banca at Citibank Hall alongside original members of the band. In 2014, Kadu and Vince toured with Marcão Britto, performing classics of Brazilian rock.
Special guests and atmosphere
The December 19 concert will feature special guests, to be announced via the project’s Instagram page (@celebracbjr). The event promises a warm, energetic end-of-year celebration between the band and the audience.
After the main concert, the venue hosts the “Palco Aberto do Vibração Coletiva,” an open stage that invites independent artists, musicians, and poets to perform freely, promoting creativity, collaboration, and artistic expression.
Celebra CBJR is a fan-made tribute to one of Brazil’s most beloved bands, fueled by passion and a shared belief in the power of music to unite people through energy and emotion.
