Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chady has been tapped as the opening act for Rock ‘N’ Radio – A Festa, taking place this Friday (Mar 27) at 8 PM at the Tijuca Tênis Clube in Rio de Janeiro. Headlining the night is Paulo Ricardo, one of the most iconic figures in Brazilian rock history.

A rising voice in Brazilian rock

Widely regarded as one of the most exciting emerging voices in Brazilian music, Chady takes the stage with a set that bridges rock generations and contemporary pop aesthetics. The show blends national and international rock classics with original compositions that have been shaping his artistic identity.

His musical influences span across Barão Vermelho, Cássia Eller, O Rappa, Charlie Brown Jr., The Beatles, Guns N’ Roses, Jota Quest, Detonautas, and Oasis. The setlist was carefully crafted to build a deep connection with the audience, moving between beloved references and the original energy that defines his career.

Original songs take center stage

Chady’s own compositions are at the heart of the performance. Songs like “Maria”, “Fenomenal”, “Te Amar É Fácil”, and the new single “Eu Vim de Lá” reveal his most personal side — confessional lyrics set to a sound that blends contemporary pop, classic rock, and elements of Brazilian music.

“Eu Vim de Lá” hits streaming platforms and radio stations on March 24, marking a new creative chapter for the artist and kicking off a series of planned releases for 2026.

From viral videos to Universal Music

Chady first captured widespread attention on social media, where his covers of hits like “Por Supuesto” by Marina Sena, “A Tua Voz” by Gloria Groove, and “Tempo Perdido” by Legião Urbana went viral, racking up millions of views. That momentum opened the doors to a professional music career.

In 2023, he signed with Universal Music Brazil and released “Maria,” his debut original single. Since then, he has steadily expanded his catalog with the “Fenomenal” EP and tracks like “Emocionado,” “Futuro Caso Antigo,” and “Queda Livre,” cementing his place on Brazil’s digital and live music circuit.
