One of the most emblematic names in Brazilian rap is back. Da Guedes releases the new single “Du Bom” on November 28, available on all digital platforms.
The track is written by Baze, Nitro Di, DJ Deeley, Spaw, and Bira Mattos, with production, mix, and mastering by Guinean producer Diima. Recording took place at Nitrosfera Studio, highlighting the group’s historical connection with the local scene.
The official music video premieres on December 5 on the group’s YouTube channel and will also be distributed to music TV channels. Produced by Caixa Preta Filmes and directed by Diogo Santoro, the clip follows Davyzinho, a young skateboarder navigating Porto Alegre and arriving at the iconic Columbus Bar, portrayed as a vibrant urban hub.
The video features bold, Latin-inspired visuals, celebrating Da Guedes’ past, present, and future, highlighting the group’s renewed creative phase.
The launch show is scheduled for December 12 at Bar Opinião, Porto Alegre, with doors opening at 11 PM. The night features an opening act by PH Original, DJs Barbosa, Buiu Rodriguez, and MilkShake, followed by the official “Du Bom” performance.
With over 30 years of career, Da Guedes revisits classics, presents new work, and reaffirms its significance in Brazilian rap and music.
