With national awards and deep faith, Edu Silvera unveils “Vou Confiar” — a song of trust recorded by the sea with a spiritual cinematic clip.
Brazilian singer Edu Silvera released his new single “Vou Confiar” on February 27, a heartfelt declaration of faith and surrender to God. Written by Deacon Alberto Araújo, the track draws inspiration from biblical passages in Exodus 14 and Joshua 6, highlighting the power of trust amid uncertainty.
A song born in the desert
According to Edu, “Vou Confiar” is more than a song — it’s a spiritual statement. “It was born in pain, waiting, and uncertainty, representing a mature faith that chooses to trust even when everything says to give up,” shares the artist.
A new season of worship
Winner of major gospel awards like Multi-Talent Singer (Promessa Gospel 2024) and Talented Singer (Promessa Gospel 2025), Edu Silvera steps into a more reflective phase. Embracing an intimate sound, he focuses on heartfelt worship rather than performance. “I didn’t want to impress, I wanted to move hearts and point to God,” he explains.
The track was produced by Estevan Modolo and Lucas Ferraz, featuring seasoned musicians such as Gleisinho Alves (guitar), Maikin (keyboards), Hugo Socha (bass), and Lucas Ferraz (drums), with background vocals by Fael and Louise Magalhães.
Nature as a visual prayer
The music video, filmed at Praia das Dunas in Cabo Frio (Rio de Janeiro), turns the natural scenery into a prayerful visual experience. Directed by Deacon Alberto Araújo, each element — the sea, the wind, the silence — becomes part of a narrative about faith and surrender.
