The Brazilian music scene gains new contours with the arrival of the debut album by Efeito Túnel. Released on December 31, 2025, the work brings together nine unreleased tracks that symbolize the closing of a cycle and the opening of new paths. The project is the result of four years of artistic maturation.

Formed by Caio Mattos (guitar), Tammys (vocals), and Marcus Bros (flute), the trio presents a sound that escapes rigid labels. The album moves freely through atmospheres of samba, rock, and instrumental music. All of this is stitched together by writing with a strong poetic and experimental charge.

The work reflects personal experiences and displacements lived by the members. For vocalist Tammys, the record balances the intimate and the universal. According to her, the composition process functioned as a natural crossing, where individual feelings gained new layers within the collective.

Collaborations and Creative Process

The self-titled album expands its sonic texture with special guest appearances. The track “Janeiro” features singer Nicole Terrestre, while “Tristeza” brings the vocals of Tiago Máci. The latter also includes an accordion arrangement by Memel Nogueira, who also signed the musical production of the record.

Created in 2019 in Maranhão, the band developed a unique dynamic of long-distance creation. With members living in different cities, the group bet on remote rehearsals and collective listening. This routine directly influenced the maturation time of the songs, allowing them to accompany the trio’s personal changes.
