Farias signs with Warner Music Brasil and records his first solo audiovisual project on 01/08 in Barra da Tijuca, unveiling a new repertoire.
Warner Music Brasil welcomed singer-songwriter Farias at its headquarters on Wednesday (01/07) to make his addition to the label’s roster official. The meeting signals a new chapter for the artist, who is taking his first steps as a solo act after nationwide recognition as the lead singer of Pagode do Adame.
Now 30, and born in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, Farias arrives with consistent placement in major playlists and a touring history that has taken him to every Brazilian state and the Federal District. Along the way, he built momentum by blending emotional delivery, stage charisma and a vocal identity that audiences quickly recognize.
A new partnership with Warner Music Brasil
“Signing with Warner is a dream come true and, at the same time, the start of an even bigger responsibility. I know where I came from, I know what I’ve built so far, and now I want to take my music to a new level—more structure, more reach and more creative possibilities,” says Farias.
For Leila Oliveira, President of Warner Music Brasil, the signing expands the company’s footprint in pagode and contemporary Brazilian popular music. “Farias is a ready artist—with an audience, a story and a very authentic artistic commitment. He represents a pagode that evolves without losing its essence, and that’s exactly aligned with what we aim to build here,” she says.
From breakthrough to repositioning
Before this new phase, Farias stood out as a central voice in Pagode do Adame. He took over vocals in 2020 and joined projects that reached significant numbers across digital platforms, strengthening his place in the samba and pagode live circuit.
His artistic roots also come from an early connection to samba and the stage. That relationship began in childhood within Rio de Janeiro’s samba school culture, shaping his performance style over the years.
First solo audiovisual project
The partnership already comes with a key announcement: on Thursday (01/08), Farias will record his first audiovisual project as a solo artist in Barra da Tijuca. The production is expected to introduce his new repertoire and cement this new artistic chapter.
With expanded support and fresh creative horizons, Farias continues a trajectory that has proven solid. Now, he enters a period of repositioning and growth within Brazil’s pagode scene.
