Poetic pop with a modern atmosphere
Written by Felipe Rosário, “Can Be” blends pop elements with a rich, layered soundscape that gives depth to its poetic lyrics. The song, entirely in English, reflects emotional intensity and explores the open possibilities within a relationship that still resonates.
The music video, directed and filmed by Laura Lima and Felipe Rosário, portrays everyday life in São Paulo through contemporary, cinematic visuals. With indirect imagery and reflective scenes, the clip captures the story of a couple adrift among the city crowds — a mirror of emotional distance and desire.
“The poetic structure plays with what this ‘Can Be’ might mean within a relationship that still beats. Everything is open, undecided — everything can be,” says Rosário.
EP “Tempestade” and artistic vision
Distributed by Ipapu, the EP “Tempestade” will feature six tracks, each with its own identity but united by poetic lyrics and sonic experimentation. The project, which began with the release of the title track, showcases Felipe Rosário’s versatility as a songwriter, producer, and performer in Brazil’s emerging pop scene.
