Flávio Venturini celebrates 50 years of music with a special concert at Qualistage in Rio, December 5.
Brazilian singer and songwriter Flávio Venturini closes his “Minha História” tour with a grand show in Rio de Janeiro on Friday, December 5, at 9:30 p.m., at Qualistage, Barra da Tijuca. The celebration will feature guest appearances by Ana Cañas, Leila Pinheiro, Gabi Melim, Milton Guedes, Sá (from Sá & Guarabira), and Dado Villa-Lobos.
Marking half a century of music, the concert presents new arrangements of Venturini’s career highlights. Produced by Torcuato Mariano and directed by Jorge Espírito Santo, the show unites exceptional musicians with a striking audiovisual setup by Alexandre Arrabal and lighting by Césio Lima.
The artist’s latest album, Minha História, produced by Torcuato Mariano and released by Biscoito Fino, features collaborations with Djavan, Ivete Sangalo, Vanessa da Mata, Ney Matogrosso, and Roupa Nova. “This is one of the most meaningful moments of my career,” says Venturini.
The setlist includes timeless hits like “Todo Azul do Mar,” “Espanhola,” “Linda Juventude,” “Planeta Sonho,” and “Céu de Santo Amaro.” The project is managed by Steve Altit, from Top Cat Produções.
